After all the rain we have been having, it was good to have a fine day to play the last event of the season, Finals Day at Dewstow.

A field of 33 took to the sodden fairways to play out the finals of all the season long competitions before a good meal of Gammon and Chips and the traditional raucous Christmas Raffle.

With the Nomads Captain, Jon Ager absent due to work commitments, it was left down to the Vice-Captain, Darren Williams to step-in and distribute the prizes and awards.

On the day, Darren Collier came out on top with a score of 38 points, from Surj Halaith with 37 and Gurdeep Litt on 36.
