The last event of the year was held over the rolling but sodden slopes of the Rolls of Monmouth. Another good turn-out of 27 players saw Gurdeep Litt take his first win with an impressive 42 points, just pipping the in-form Derek Freeman-Jones on 40 and Guy Greening on 35. Derek’s excellent 2nd place saw him raise the Order of Merit again he has successfully defended, whilst Guy took the knockout competition, the ‘Guillotine’.

A number of other prizes were up for competition which included; Captain’s Whisky (Stuart Perry), Divisional Playoffs, One (Derek), Two (Mark Willicott), Three (Rich Allen), Four (Gurdeep). There was also a play-off for a bottle of wine which was won by Adam Jones. Gurdeep also took the Par 3 and Nearest the Pin whilst Mark Graham took the longest drive.

Have a great Christmas and New Year – see you all in 2013.
