Twenty-seven members turned-out on the fine Kendleshire course, just north of Bristol on a day that saw sunshine, rain, lightening and hailstones.

It was a first win for Jitesh Mistry with 36 points just ahead of former captain, Simon Howlett with 34 and also making the podium was club member, John Essom with 31 points.

Nearest the Pin went to Tony Griffiths, longest drive to Manny Virdi whilst the Par 3 prize was shared between Carolyn Griffiths and Damian Orton.

The divisional winners saw Manny (1), Damian (2), Wayne Stewart (3) and Tony Burris (4).

The day was completed with a meal of turkey followed by strawberries and cream.

Following today’s results, Wayne Stewart has clinched the Anglo Cup for the best scores over all the English course played throughout the year.
