Henbury Golf Club
The VIII Newton Cup was played at the Henbury Golf Club in Bristol on a cloudy but sunny day. An excellent days golf was had by the members which saw the Celts take a healthy lead in the morning greensomes event. A much tighter affair in the afternoon singles saw a comeback from the Saxons, but it was not enough as the Celts won by 2 points for their first win since 2005. |
